ABOUT THE ROLE

SALARY: £12.90 per hour
HOURS: 40 hours per week, including evenings and weekends

RESPONSIBILITIES

•  Ensure all menus are checked with Chef daily, updating changes, and printing; checking existing menus are in pristine condition ahead of service; remove damaged menus/holders.
• To play a daily active role in making sure the restaurant is set up for every meal period according to ResDiary table allocations.
• Ensure all departments have a copy of the Running Order report, highlighting any allergies, preferences, or guest notes. (Red: Allergy; Yellow: Request/Preference; Green: Guest note/VIP).
• Attend each briefing, talking team through guest notes and special occasions.
  To display excellent communication skills and be fully proficient in the use of the reservation system.
• Adhere to the agreed steps of service at all times
• Deliver excellent guest service at all times, starting with a wonderful welcome
• Actively drive average spend per head, by identifying all opportunities for recommendations, such as recommending our tasting menu, or a glass of Champagne.
• Seek to proactively assist guests, without waiting for them to stand up and seek for help.
• Anticipate all possible complaints and attempt to resolve them in the first instance.
• Report/escalate any potential issues or complaints to the Manager on duty.
