In this role, you will be nurturing and retaining our members with the welcoming professional service you and the team deliver. In addition you will continue to evolve a positive team culture and deliver exceptional operational standards, empowering and developing managers to achieve their own personal goals, while continuing to create a exceptional wellness experience for members.
SALARY: £40000 Depending on experience
HOURS: Full Time - fully flexible Mon to Sunday shift cover. Early 6:00am / Late 8:00pm (winter) 9:00pm (Summer).
RESPONSIBILITIES
Operations
- Support with opening & closing The Club acting as duty manager, including H&S checks and other general opening and closing procedures.
- To maintain a safe workplace is adhered to. Take ownership of Health & Safety requirements, keeping digital H&S compliance up to date.
- Escalate all H&S and site maintenance issues to General Manager / Head of Maintenance that cannot be resolved
- Work alongside General Manager and Department Heads to contribute to the ongoing Strategy for The Club
- Arrange regular 1-1’s with your department managers and attend fortnightly Heads meeting with MD.
Commerciality
- Work with GM, Department Heads & Team Managers to deliver achievable sales and EBITDA budgets for The Club.
- To ensure accurate sales forecasting & contribute with GM & department Heads to annual budgeting.
- Review rota efficiency via payroll system. Review with Department Heads & deliver target wage costs.
- To engage the team in the weekly/monthly targets.
Managing People
- Lead and manage a motivated and high performing team, in line with company culture and values to ensure they deliver objectives and responsibilities as expected.

- To recruit the best people for the right job role, develop, train and coach your teams
- Build relationships with all Support Office teams & work closely with General Manager to support and innovate.
Customer Engagement and Service
- Coach all teams to deliver exceptional product & service
- To resolve all complaints/queries, to a high standard of member satisfaction & escalate any unresolved issues to General Manager
- Monitor and enhance membership service levels, through observation, innovation and support.
- Maintain a constant presence within The Club, acting as the face of The club to members, ensuring an outstanding experience is delivered at all times.
- Work with your teams to ensure all channels of membership experience are consistently being met.
Stock Management
- Manage and support FOH Manager with stock accuracy by ensuring compliant stock management processes are in place and escalate any key issues to the General Manager.
- Support Housekeeping & F&B in reviewing orders and deliver logistics.
