ABOUT THE ROLE

Our Bamford family is growing, and we are looking for a talented and passionate Spa Therapist to join our beautiful London spa in South Kensington.

As a Spa Therapist, you will have a genuine interest and passion for wellness, well-being and a holistic approach. You will be fully training in the Bamford face and body treatment protocols and deliver other holistic therapies including Hot stones, Chakra’s and Crystals.

Our environment is a beautiful, tranquil and healing space and all treatments reflect this and the Bamford philosophy.

SALARY:     £14.63 per hour, plus treatment and retail commission

HOURS:       40 hours per week

We also have Spa Therapist opportunities at our flagship Bamford Wellness Spa in the Cotswolds for those looking to join a larger team in a beautiful countryside setting. Accommodation can be provided, subject to availability.

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED

• Minimum 2 years’ experience within a luxury spa or wellness environment

• ESSENTIAL: NVQ/SVQ Level 3 (or equivalent: ITEC, CIDESCO, CIBTAC) in Massage Therapy

• ESSENTIAL: Qualified in facial treatments (e.g. VTCT, ITEC or equivalent) with confidence in delivering results-driven skincare

• Confident in delivering a range of holistic therapies (e.g. hot stones, energy-based treatments, or similar modalities)

• Excellent consultation skills with the ability to assess, adapt, and personalise treatments

• Strong retail awareness, with the ability to recommend products authentically and effectively

• High level of spoken and written English

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS

• Nail Technician (any of: VCTC Level 2 Certificate in Nail Treatments, CIBTAC Nail Technician Diploma, ITEC Level 2 (Junior) / Level 3 Diploma, BTEC National Award Certificate or Diploma in Beauty Therapy Sciences, NVQ Level 2 (Junior) / Level 3 (Senior).

• Strong bodywork experience, including lymphatic drainage, deep tissue, or sports massage techniques

• Waxing, eyebrows, lash lift.
