ABOUT THE ROLE

Our Bamford family is growing, and we are looking for a talented and passionate Retail Assistant to join us at our beautiful spa in South Kensington, London.

As a Retail Assistant, you will be required to greet all clients and ensure they receive a 5* star service whilst in the Wellness Space. You will learn and maintain a high level of product knowledge to proactively engage with clients and maximise sales. You will also be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout the Wellness Space. You will follow the Bamford philosophy to the highest professional standard.

This role is full time, based on 40 hours per week including weekends.

Salary £26,000 per annum.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure exceptional familiarity with all Bamford retail products, treatments and services in order to recommend and maximise sales.
• Manage all client bookings, using our online system, whilst liaising with the Therapist team on their schedules to increase appointment occupancy.
• Provide exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive guest experience by managing bookings, responding to inquiries, and offering informed product and treatment advice.
• Maintaining accurate stock levels, processing purchases, and adhering to merchandising guidelines.
• Receiving deliveries, inventory management, and supporting with stock takes and discrepancy resolutions.
• Support the Spa Manager with any other ad-hoc duties.

SKILLS YOU WILL BRING

• Experience in luxury retail or Spa would be an advantage
• Strong customer service and communication skills to provide an exceptional guest experience.
• A brand champion who believes wholeheartedly on the importance of the Bamford brand and products.
• Attention to detail for accurate stock management and inventory control.
• Strong organisational and time management skills for handling bookings and sales targets.
• Ability to handle guest feedback and complaints professionally, with a solution-oriented approach
• Knowledge of health and safety standards and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
• Natural multi-tasker with a can-do, flexible attitude & positive energy
• Excellent communication skills are key to this role
