ABOUT THE ROLE

The Bamford Collection is seeking a Data Analyst on a 6-month fixed term contract to support the migration to Microsoft Business Central.

In this role, you will document current data usage across multiple systems, including Streetwise, Opera, Simphony, ResDiary, Mindbody, as well as a variety of custom Excel tools.

Working under the guidance of the ERP Programme Manager, you will identify and report data quality issues, document tools, reports, and processes used to support current operations and assist in preparing data for migration to Microsoft Business Central.

You will gain valuable experience in enterprise system implementation and have the opportunity to contribute to a high-profile digital transformation project.

This role is full time, 40 hours and based in Kingham, Oxfordshire.

Salary £35,000 per annum.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Document and catalogue custom Excel tools, reports, and data processes across Streetwise and other systems, including their users and purposes.

• Map data flows and identify business-critical reports, workarounds, and manual adjustments.

• Conduct interviews with users to understand data usage and requirements.

• Profile key system data and log quality issues such as missing, duplicate, or inconsistent data.

• Support the Head of Systems in building a data cleansing roadmap and defining standards for “good data” for customers, products, transactions, and suppliers.

• Flag potential migration risks and provide supporting information to the Programme Manager and Head of Systems.

• Maintain clear documentation of findings, including visual materials (flowcharts, data maps), and present them effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Provide regular updates to the ERP Project Manager and Head of Systems.

SKILLS YOU WILL BRING

• Experience working with data, including academic or project-based experience

• Familiarity with databases or business systems.

• Experience documenting processes or taking detailed meeting notes

• Strong Excel skills (comfortable with formulae, sorting/filtering data, creating basic charts)

• Experience taking meeting notes or documenting processes

• Excellent attention to detail.

• Able to organise and structure information clearly.

• Comfortable learning new solutions.

• Detail-oriented and methodical.

• Confident communicator, able to translate findings into clear business language.
