ABOUT THE ROLE
Award winning, Daylesford Organic, one of the most famous farming estates and organic producers in the UK. We are looking for an engaging and passionate Retail Team Member to join our team.

Please note: We are looking for someone with previous experience with Charcuterie and A good knowledge of different Cheeses!

SALARY: £12.55 + Tronc
HOURS: Full time

Opening Shifts starts 5.30am
Closing Shift ends 21.00pm

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Comprehensive knowledge of cheese varieties: Familiarity with different types of cheeses, including flavour profiles, textures, and optimal pairings, is essential for selecting and recommending cheeses.
• Proficiency in operating slicer machines: Experience using commercial slicer machines to precisely cut cheeses and charcuterie meats to desired thicknesses, ensuring both safety and accuracy.
• Charcuterie preparation skills: Ability to curate and present charcuterie boards with an understanding of proper meat and cheese combinations, portioning, and aesthetic presentation.
• Food safety and hygiene awareness: Knowledge of food safety regulations, proper storage techniques, and handling of perishable items like cheese and cured meats to maintain freshness and quality

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers with product inquiries, offering recommendations, and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of retail areas, including shelves, displays, and product storage, adhering to hygiene and safety standards.
• Stock shelves and replenish inventory to ensure products are readily available for customers, while monitoring expiration dates and product quality.
• Operate cash registers and process transactions accurately, handling payments, returns, and exchanges efficiently while upholding cash handling procedures.
• Assist in merchandising efforts by participating in product promotions, seasonal displays, and maintaining awareness of product knowledge to effectively communicate with customers
