ABOUT THE ROLE
The Patisserie Production Assistant will be working in the Patisserie production kitchen 3 days per week, packaging the in-house produced Crackers, Nuts and Beans (and other seasonal items where necessary) to meet the demand of our discerning Retail and Wholesale customers

HOURS: 24H - Monday- Wednesday working pattern (8-hour shifts falling between the working hours of 5:00 and 17:00). 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• execute and prepare all products as per company specifications
  handle and treat the food as if it were your own
• execute all food packaging in a timely and professional manner
• adhere to the organic standards as set out by the Soil Association
• contribute to the award-winning standard of all Daylesford Organic products
• ensure that all packaging items are well organised, in full supply and ready for each day’s production plan
• ensure that cleaning rotas are adhered to at all times
• ensure rubbish is separated into correct recycling bins and is removed from site throughout, as well as at the end of, shift
• complete all packaging tasks efficiently within the timeframe given
• working safely and efficiently to ensure that all daily orders are completed above the required fulfilment rate
• minimise wastage levels as much as possible
• comply with the production unit’s internal and external audit requirements
• aid the Production Unit Manager in the fulfilment of the production unit’s annual financial/budgetary targets
• participating in the effective communication amongst the team regarding any changes to recipes, packaging specifications, procedures and/or operational needs, and amongst the company and other customers regarding any quality issues/shortages in the required timescale
