ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced and inspiring General Manager to lead our Daylesford Organic farmshop and café in Pimlico. Our Pimlico location offers a curated selection of organic produce, sustainable homeware, and a seasonal café menu crafted from ingredients sourced directly from our Cotswolds farm .
As General Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the store's operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, team leadership, and alignment with Daylesford's commitment to sustainability and quality. Your responsibilities will include team development, sales performance, and maintaining the high standards that define the Daylesford brand. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact in a dynamic retail and hospitality environment.
SALARY: £60000 - £65000 Depending on experience
HOURS: Full time - 40 hours - Weekend Availability is key
RESPONSIBILITIES

- Champion the quality of café food and fresh produce in store.
- Champion full shelves, fixed merchandising, and appropriate POS.
Great Service
- Ensure customer delight across the store.
- Champion swift, efficient, knowledgeable, and engaging café and retail service.
Great Numbers
- Manage the rota effectively to deliver target wage costs.
- Manage store and kitchen ordering to ensure minimum waste and full availability.
- Engage the team in weekly targets and deliver agreed spend per head and transaction targets.
- Monitor and manage stock levels to minimize variance between actual and book values.
Daily Operations
- Maintain a safe workplace across the store.
- Ensure the store operates within internal audit requirements.
- Participate in opening/closing procedures of the store.
- Ensure daily banking is undertaken.
- Complete all people administration and processes for the team in a timely manner
