EARNINGS: £34,069 per annum OTE*
HOURS: 45 hours, 5 shifts out of 7 including weekends.

*The on target earning potential for this role is £34,069 per annum based on a 45-hour contract - comprising a base salary of £30,069, plus a qualified estimate of £4,000 in gratuities and service charge. Please note this role is hourly and weekly paid so this is a projected salary and OTE.

With 13 beautifully appointed rooms and visually stunning food with vibrant organic seasonal ingredients from Daylesford Farm, The Bell combines comforting dishes with culinary flair. Deeply rooted in the community, it regularly hosts events and workshops in collaboration with local organisations.

Under the guidance of Nathan Walker-Unwin, an integral figure in the opening of two acclaimed Daylesford pubs. The Bell fosters a culture where every team member is valued and every guest is welcomed like family.

ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Supervisor, you’ll lead by example on the floor, champion exceptional service standards, and support the General Manager and wider Operations teams in running smooth, memorable shifts. If you thrive in fast‑paced, guest‑focused environments and love creating experiences that people want to return to, you’ll fit in beautifully.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Act as a warm, polished host, creating an atmosphere that feels welcoming, generous, and effortless.

• Ensure the pub, restaurant, and garden are beautifully presented throughout the day, always service‑ready.

• Lead and motivate the Front of House team, ensuring seamless service across all touchpoints.

• Maintain a strong working knowledge of our menus, food, wine, cocktails, and all things Daylesford, confidently offering recommendations and accurate allergen guidance.

• Oversee daily shift management, ensuring smooth operations from open to close.

• Maximise sales opportunities through smart table management, team coaching, and guest‑first thinking.

• Work closely with our kitchen and bar teams to continually evolve our food and beverage offering.

• Support, guide, and inspire our FOH team, previous leadership experience is a plus.

• Prepare and manage staff rotas to ensure balanced coverage, fairness, and efficiency.

SKILLS YOU WILL BRING

• A natural leader with a passion for hospitality, service, and making guests feel truly cared for.

• Experience supervising or mentoring a team within a premium hospitality setting.

• Confidence, warmth, and the ability to set the tone for a great guest experience.

• Strong organisational skills with a calm, solutions‑focused approach.

• A love for food, drink, seasonal British ingredients and a desire to keep learning.

• Pride in high standards, presentation, and the details that make all the difference.
