THE BELL, CHARLBURY
In the heart of the market town of Charlbury, The Bell has been a place for locals to gather, dine – and at one time, stable a horse – since the seventeenth century. The inn now has 12 homely yet elegant bedrooms. The pub serves seasonal dishes made with local produce, while two terraces extend into the long garden behind the pub, with a walled orchard garden gently rolling downhill to the stream at its foot.
